Navratri Day 9 : Goddess Siddhidatri – Ninth form of Goddess Durga

Embodies – Knowledge and Wisdom

Goddess Siddhidatri is the Goddess of Achievement who bestows knowledge and wisdom upon her worshippers. She represents perfection and aids her worshippers in achieving it, as well as happiness and purity of heart. She assists individuals in opening up their minds and seeing new visions of the world, broadening their mental horizons.

Siddhidatri, the Goddess, rides the lion on Kamal. She holds Gada in one hand, Chakra in the other, a lotus flower in one of her left hands, and Shankh in the other. Her name translates to "provider of extraordinary strength". Goddess Siddhidatri is famed for bestowing eternal wisdom and insights to her worshippers.

A smart leader realizes that only when he/she has capable and competent team members is when the goals are achieved.

For this, every leader must strive to be competent and capable by having the right A S K.

 ·      Attitude

·      Skill

·      Knowledge.

An individual who constantly works on his A S K is a better person than he was yesterday.

A leader should create learning and development goals for him and his team.

He should encourage to ask himself and his team - what skill and knowledge do I have to develop to be able to contribute at the next level?

Then apply a simple P R E model.

People -Who are the experts I can learn from? Whom should I have as my mentor or coach?

Resources –What are the books, YouTube channels, Blogs, podcasts I can learn from?

Experiences- Attending training programs, webinars, participating in conferences and events.

With the constantly changing environment, a leader should invest in improving knowledge on automation and leveraging technology.

Let Devi Siddhidatri bless us all with the right attitude, skill, and knowledge to become a better version of ourselves and create value for fellow beings.

Om Devi Siddhidatryai Namaha

Shubh Navratri!

My Gratitude

I am so overwhelmed and moved by encouraging words of appreciation for each of the posts.

So many of you have personally reached and offered assignments to speak at various forums.

I am no expert and a humble seeker of knowledge just like you.

If at all you found value, it’s purely because of my mentors, my bosses, colleagues, friends, and family who have pushed me beyond my comfort zone to learn and teach.

The last 9 days were tremendous learning and I thoroughly enjoyed posting each day.

My deepest gratitude for your engagement and inspiration.
